Every year, many people submit
their applications for immigrating to Canada. The applications are organized
and processed using a system known as an Express Entry. By applying through the
Express Entry system, one can get recognized as a permanent resident of Canada.
Comprehensive
Ranking System(CRS)
Individuals looking to avail Express Entry Canada from India can
apply for three programs, namely Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian
Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), as well as a series of
Provincial Nomination Programs. All the above-mentioned programs are based on
merit. The applicants are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
The ranking system is based on the
applicant’s profile, specifically, education, work experience, proficiency in
one of the official Canadian languages, age, and adaptability. Immigration,
Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invites
applicants with a higher score to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The CRS score for an applicant does not depend on which immigration program they
are applying for. So applicants applying for different programs are in
competition with each other. We have experienced Immigration Consultants who
can help you achieve the maximum score in CRS.
Requirements
for Express Entry
Applicants for Express Entry must meet the
requirements for any one of the programs. The three programs have some
requirements in common which include:
· The National Occupation Classification the system is used to measure the skill level for various posts. The skill levels
are 0, A, and B. Every candidate must have work experience to which skill the level can be assigned.
· Work experience is required in
the Express Entry System. Applicants must have at least a year of experience
working full time, or an identical amount of experience in working part-time.
· Candidates need to be fluent in
one of English or French, which are the official languages of Canada. The
required level of proficiency is different for different programs. For this,
applicants need to take language tests and submit the results during the Express Entry Canada
from India process.
· Candidates applying via
Express Entry must make sure they have no serious medical conditions or
criminal records that prevent them from entering Canada.
The
Application Process
Applicants interested in Express Entry Canada
from India must submit their profile in Express The entry which lets the Canadian Government know that the candidate is interested
in becoming a permanent resident of Canada. After submission, each profile is
assigned a CRS score. The profile in Express Entry remains valid for a year,
during which time the candidate may choose to update their profile.
Candidates with the highest CRS scores are
placed in a draw every two weeks. Invitations are extended to applicants, which
allows them to move to the next stage. An applicant may submit a new profile
for evaluation if they do not receive an invitation within a year.
After the invitation has been received, candidates
must submit an electronic application for Permanent Residence within 60 days.
If this electronic application is complete and matches with the information
present in the Express Entry profile, then the Canadian government grants them
permanent residence. The family members of the applicant will also be given the
status of permanent resident in Canada.
