Immigrating to Canada and getting the Permanent Residence there is a dream of all. However, only a few can make their dream come true. By providing a quality life with a friendly atmosphere and giving equal rights & benefits to all, Canada is considered as the best Immigration Country in the world. But as the competition and demand are increasing so is the process becoming difficult.
In such a condition, some seek the help of the Canada PR consultant while some try to figure out the best possible ways by themselves. To make your work a little easier, the Canadian government launched a program that would help aspiring aspirants to fulfill their wish which is the “Express Entry Program”.
What is the Express Entry program?
It is a point-based immigration program for professionals who are looking to settle in Canada. Based on skills, experience, Canadian employment status, education qualification, and more, CRS points are being awarded to individuals. Hence, the higher your score, the greater is your chance of receiving an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence in Canada.
Evaluation is done based on:
- Age: You are given the points based on the age group you fall in which the group of 18-35 years gets the highest marks whereas a 47 years old person gets no marks.
- Highest Qualification: The higher degree you hold the more is your score. Depending upon the educational qualification you have, you are evaluated in this program.
- Language skills: Like knowing the language is important to travel to any new place similarly having better language skills can fetch you better marks. Having proficiency in both the official languages of Canada i.e. French and English can be a bonus for you.
- Canadian Work Experience: If you have some previous experience of working in any Canadian Organization then you could be getting some additional points for that too.
- Offer letter from Canadian recruiter: There is also the scope of having points if you have a job letter from a recognized Canadian organization or company in advance.
