Nova Scotia is
one of Canada's four Atlantic Provinces, consisting largely of a peninsula with
numerous outlying islands. In the summer, water sports such as kayaking and
paddle boarding are popular, and the province is home to numerous adorable
puffins and seals.
The Bay of Fundy,
one of Canada's most popular tourist destinations, is also located in the
province and is known for its dramatic high and low tides as well as whale
viewing. Halifax is recognized for its vibrant waterfront, the star-shaped
Citadel, and the Moose heads, a legendary ice hockey team.
Nova Scotia is a
pleasurable and cheap area to live because of its low cost of living and great
quality of life. The Nova Scotian government established organizations with the
mission of assisting new immigrants in finding jobs, improving their language
skills, and enrolling in university, so easing their assimilation.
