In 2019, there were 332,331 profiles submitted in the Express Entry Pool and 360,998 profiles in 2020. The Canadian Government ranks these applicants using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Each candidate is given a score based on their merit which they can earn in many ways. The CRS awards individual points in two categories: the main set of 600 points and a set of additional 600 points upon Provincial Nomination.
