Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is an immigration program it is provided by IRCC. Manitoba attracts immigrants through the various streams they provide.  It is a very immigration-friendly province. It looks for the younger generation to establish their economy. It provides three streams for different professions.

Let’s check what is in the Skilled Workers’ Stream. It is sub-devised into two streams.

·     1. Skilled Workers Stream: ongoing employment can give you a strong selection for this stream. Ongoing employment means six months above work experience in Manitoba. If you have a long-term employment letter from any Manitoba company, there are more chances for you to get the nomination. It is not subjected to the point-based method like other streams.    

·      2. Skilled Workers Overseas: you can nominate through this stream if you have any family member in Manitoba who nominates you. Previous education or work experience in Manitoba can help you in the nomination. If you have ITA which is received directly from the MPNP as part of the strategic recruitment initiative.

Let’s check what is in the International Education Stream. It is sub-devised into three streams. It is for international students studying in Manitoba. To meet the needs of industry factors.

• Career Employment Pathway: it is for post-secondary students who have done their degree in Manitoba. It is for students who find a long-term job letter in Manitoba. If you meet all the conditions of the eligibility criteria you should apply for MPNP nomination.
• Graduates Internship Pathway: it provides smooth functioning for the doctorate degree graduates to contribute in internships for meeting industrial needs in their field of study. You must have a complete internship with Mitac (Elevate / Accelerate).
•  International Student Entrepreneur Pilot: age should be 21-35 for being eligible. It is an opportunity to graduate in Manitoba for pursuing entrepreneurship rather than employment. You must meet Business Performance Agreement (BPA) conditions for being eligible. You must be worked as a senior manager on a daily basis in Manitoba for at least 6 months before applying for nomination while working on a temporary work permit. 51% equity should be in business.

Let’s check what is in the Business Investor Stream. It is sub-devised into two streams. It invites people from worldwide who wanted to invest and start their business in Manitoba.

•  Entrepreneur Pathway: it allows people from worldwide to invest and start their business in Manitoba. Now it is not required to deposit $100,000. 3 years of work experience is required in the previous 5 years as an active business owner or senior manager role in a successful business.
• Farm Investor Stream: this sub-stream is for people who are interested in investing in the farming sector in Manitoba. This is a paper-based interim process for applying in this sub-stream. It consists of 7 forms, 1-3 for expressing your interest in applying. 4-7 forms are for meeting the required criteria.
